How can we help?
Answers to the most common questions about Apex Trade — getting started, your subscription, alerts, and how your data is handled.
Getting started
The basics to get your portfolio up and running.
How do I add a holding?›
On the Portfolio tab, tap + Add Holding, search a ticker, then enter your number of shares and average cost. Your total value and P&L update in real time.
How do I sync across my iPhone and iPad?›
Open Settings (gear icon, top-right of Portfolio) and tap Sign in with Apple. Your holdings, watchlist and alerts are stored in your private iCloud and appear on every device signed into the same Apple ID.
How do I add a stock to my watchlist or set an alert?›
Open any company's fact sheet (tap a holding, a watchlist row, or a heat-map tile). Tap the ★ star to add it to your watchlist, or the 🔔 bell to set a price target. Enable price and VWAP alerts under Settings → Investment Preferences.
Free trial & subscription
Apex Trade is free to download with an 8-day trial, then a subscription.
How does the 8-day free trial work?›
Download the app and use every feature free for 8 days. If you don't continue, it simply stops after the trial. To keep live data, alerts and cloud sync, continue with Apex Trade Pro.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?›
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel:
- Open the iOS Settings app and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Apex Trade and choose cancel or change plan.
Cancelling before the trial ends means you won't be charged.
I was charged / want a refund›
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled through Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com. If something looks wrong, email us and we'll help you sort it out.
Data & troubleshooting
Where your data lives and what to try if something looks off.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?›
Your holdings, watchlist and alerts live in
your private iCloud — not on our servers — and nothing is sold. See the full
Privacy Policy.
Prices or a tab aren't loading›
Live data comes from third-party market providers and can occasionally rate-limit or lag. Try pulling to refresh, check your connection, or reopen the app. If a specific screen stays stuck, let us know which one.
Which markets and symbols are supported?›
Apex Trade focuses on U.S.-listed equities and ETFs (and major indices such as the S&P 100). You can search and add any supported ticker from the search bar.
