SerialWatcherMovies & TV Tracker

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

SerialWatcher is built to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens with your information.

We do not collect your data

SerialWatcher has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information. We never see your library, ratings, reviews, or lists.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in the app — your library, watch status, episode progress, ratings, reviews, favorites and lists — is stored on your device and synced privately through your own iCloud account (Apple's key-value storage). It never leaves Apple's ecosystem and is tied to your Apple ID, not to us. If you reinstall the app on the same iCloud account, your data is restored automatically.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

Signing in with Apple is entirely optional and is used only to personalize your name inside the app. It is not required to use any feature, and it does not enable data collection. iCloud sync works with or without it.

Third-party content (TMDB)

Movie and TV information, images and metadata are provided by TMDB through their public API. When the app fetches this content, standard network requests are made to TMDB. Please refer to TMDB's own privacy policy for how they handle API requests. SerialWatcher does not send them any of your personal data.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Children

SerialWatcher is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
